The short version

  • Tona has no accounts and shows no ads.
  • Your videos and photos never leave your iPhone. All color processing happens on the device.
  • We collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports to improve the app. They are not linked to you and are never used to track you.

Your photos and videos

Tona asks for access to your photo library to show your videos and photos and to save your exported edits back to Photos. Media is read and processed on your device only. We do not upload, store or share your photos or videos.

Your edits (settings, presets, trim, history) are stored locally in the app's storage on your device.

Anonymous analytics

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service based in Germany, to understand how the app is used: for example which screens are opened, which LUTs and adjustments are used, how long exports take and whether they fail.

TelemetryDeck receives no names, email addresses, IP addresses or advertising identifiers. Signals carry a one-way hashed, anonymous identifier, so we cannot identify you.

Crash and freeze reports

Tona uses Apple's MetricKit. If the app crashes or freezes, a summary (error type, app version, duration of a freeze) is sent anonymously through TelemetryDeck the next time you open the app. It contains no personal data or media.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether your Tona Pro subscription is active. RevenueCat receives your purchase history (product, price, dates) together with an anonymous app user ID generated on your device. We do not link it to your identity.

Tracking

Tona does not track you across apps or websites and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).

Data retention and your rights

Analytics and purchase records are kept only as long as needed to run and improve the app. Because the data is anonymous, we usually cannot link a request to you, but you can always contact us at v.kondratiev@konspire.cz with questions or requests under the GDPR. You can delete all data stored on your device by deleting the app.

Children

Tona is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
