Terms of Use

The short version

  • Editing in Tona is free. Exporting requires Tona Pro, a monthly or yearly subscription.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple Account settings.
  • Your videos and photos stay yours. The built-in LUTs are for use inside Tona only.

These terms apply to the Tona app made by Konspire Creative s.r.o., Czech Republic (“we”). Your use of Tona is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). Where these terms and the standard EULA differ, these terms add to it for the topics below.

Tona Pro subscription

  • What you get. Tona Pro unlocks exporting edited videos and photos, including 4K and HEVC 10-bit. Editing, LUTs, adjustments and presets are free to use.
  • Plans. Tona Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may differ by country.
  • Free trial. The yearly plan may start with a free trial for new subscribers. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
  • Payment and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Restore. If you reinstall Tona or switch to a new iPhone, tap Restore on the subscription screen while signed in with the same Apple Account.

Your content

You keep all rights to the videos and photos you edit. Tona processes them on your device and does not upload them. You are responsible for having the rights to the media and to any .cube LUT files you import.

Built-in LUTs

The LUTs included in Tona are licensed to us. You may use them to grade your own videos and photos in Tona and share the results. You may not extract, copy, resell or redistribute the LUT files themselves.

The app

We keep improving Tona and may add, change or remove features. The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for loss of data; keep copies of the media you care about. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
